20193-083 Erbe NESSY Ω, split, VIO, ICC, ACC, non-ERBE units, International contact surface 85 cm², equiptential ring 23 cm², with connecting cable 4 m

20193-083 Erbe neutral electrodes are disposable. They are suitable for electrosurgical devices that provide monopolar electrosurgery. The adhesive surface is applied to the patient's skin, close to the electrosurgical site.

This patient board requires a 5m reusable patient board cable or a 4m reusable patient board cable.

Erbe Nessy Omega Plate is suitable for all ages, including children. It is made of thin and elastic parts.

Advantages of Electrodes

l The contact area between the uncharged electrode and the equivalent ring is 85 cml + 23 cml;

l Any direction used to act on the biofield;

l High density current without single heating;

l Improvements to ICC and ERBE VIO;

l Broad biocompatibility and good skin tolerance.

l Fits the body perfectly.

Features

  • Split effective contact surface 85 cm² + equipotential ring 23 cm²
  • High current densities and partial heating are largely avoided
  • May be independent of the orientation of the surgical site
  • Can be used to treat adults and children
  • The electrodes are well tolerated by the skin (biocompatibility)
  • With its thin and flexible material, the board adapts well to the shape of the body

Electrosurgery is the most commonly used surgical technique in the operating room. In almost every operating room, and in all disciplines, electrosurgical equipment is used.

Monopolar and bipolar techniques are differentiated based on the circuit (unit/instrument/patient). For monopolar electrosurgery, a return electrode is applied to the patient's body to conduct high-frequency current. In bipolar technology, the circuit is closed with a bipolar instrument such as tweezers.

NESSY Ω® can be placed freely without facing the surgical area. The outer contactless equipotential loop distributes the current evenly to the inner contact surfaces, thus avoiding unwanted leading edge effects.

Another advantage: NESSY Ω® is smaller than traditional return electrodes. So it can also be used on smaller patients and is easier to place. Therefore, NESSY Ω® can be used in both adults and children. Both the NESSY Ω® and return electrode safety systems represent a high level of safety for monopolar electrosurgery

Select a suitable return electrode

Attach the return electrode free of creases

The return electrode can be placed under the antithrombosis stocking

on safe use of electrosurgery

  • Put the patient in an electrically isolated position
  • Choose the right return electrode
  • Select the location of the return electrode
  • Prepare the application
  • Correctly install the return electrode
  • Avoid igniting flammable substances
