When the monitor is powered by batteries, the monitor will automatically shut down if there is no power in the battery. When the power is low, a sign will be displayed on the screen. Checking Battery Performance

Battery performance can degrade over time. The battery care recommended here can help slow this process down.

1. Disconnect the patient from the monitor and stop all controls and measurements.

2. Turn on the monitor and charge continuously for more than 6 hours.

3. Unplug the monitor power cord and leave it on until the battery dies and the monitor turns off.

4. Battery life reflects battery performance. If the usage time is significantly less than the time specified in the manual, replace the battery or call customer service.

Warning

1. Before using the rechargeable Li-ion battery (hereinafter referred to as the battery) Please read the user manual and safety information carefully.

2. Do not connect the positive (+) and negative (-) terminals with metal objects. And do not place the battery on metal objects, otherwise it may cause a short circuit.

Replacing the Battery

1. Pull the battery compartment open as shown.

2. Pull the plastic latch until the battery can be removed.

3. Insert the new battery into the battery compartment.

4. Lower the metal latch to secure the battery and close the battery door.

Battery recycling

When the battery is no longer charged, it must be replaced. Remove old batteries from the monitor and recycle properly.

Note: In order to extend the battery life, it is recommended to charge it at least once a month, after the end of the power supply.
