Battery LED
A flashing yellow LED indicates that the battery is low. indicates that the battery is not installed This LED does not indicate that the device is running on battery power. New batteries must complete a charge/discharge/charge cycle before the battery LED shows its true capacity.
Warning: The battery must always be installed while the device is in operation. Although it works on AC power, the buzzer and memory will not work if you remove the battery from the device. Do not use this device without batteries.
Low Battery Alarm
Battery LED blinks in sync with Main Alarm LED.
Troubleshooting
Device will not activate
| Possible Cause | Possible Solution |
| The device has no power. | Plug in the AC power supply. |
| The battery pack is connected incorrectly. | Check the battery pack connector orientation |
| The battery pack is not charged. | Plug the device into AC power to charge the battery pack. New battery packs must complete one charge/discharge/recharge cycle before the battery LED will display actual capacity |
| The battery pack will not charge. | Contact Technical Service for repair or replacement. |
The device does not record data.

Installing the Batteries
NOTE: New battery packs must be fully charged before use; minimum recharge time is 4 hours.
• Loosen the screws and remove the rear cover.
• Insert the battery pack as shown.
• Carefully replace the back cover and tighten the screws, do not overtighten.
• Removing the battery from the device deletes all previous SpO2 and NIBP data; it does not delete user-defined alarm limits.
