WARNING

1. In order for the monitor to work properly, please read the user manual and follow the steps before using the monitor.

2. Before using the equipment, check the equipment, patient cables, electrodes, etc. They should be replaced if they show obvious defects or signs of wear that could affect safety or performance.

3. Medical engineering equipment such as these monitors/monitoring systems should only be used by personnel who have been properly trained in the proper use of such equipment.

4. Explosion hazard: Do not use this device in a flammable environment where anesthetics or other flammable substances may be concentrated.

5. Electric Shock Hazard - To avoid the risk of electric shock, this equipment should only be connected to a protectively grounded power source. Never convert the three-prong connector of the monitor into a two-prong socket.

6. Do not touch the patient, the table or the monitor during defibrillation.

7. The simultaneous use of pacemakers and other devices connected to the patient may present potential safety risks.

8. Magnetic and electric fields can interfere with the normal operation of the device. Therefore, ensure that all external equipment operating near the monitor complies with the relevant EMC requirements. X-ray or MRI machines are potential sources of interference as they may emit higher levels of electromagnetic radiation.

9. Be especially careful when using electrical medical equipment. Many parts of human/machine circuits are conductive, such as patients, connectors, electrodes, transducers. It is very important that these conductive parts do not come into contact with other grounded conductive parts when connected to the isolated patient input of the device. This contact engages patient isolation and cancels the protection provided by the isolated input. In particular, the neutral electrodes and the grounding wires must not touch each other.

10. Carefully route all cables to avoid possible entanglement, strangulation, or electrical interference. For patient-mounted equipment, appropriate precautions must be taken to prevent it from falling onto the patient.

11. The equipment connected to the display must be equipotential.

12. If protective earthing is in doubt, the display may only be powered from the internal power supply.
