This internal battery can power the N-560 during transportation or when AC power is unavailable. On the Covidien N-ellcor OxiMax N-560 Pulse Oximeter with no audible alarm sounding and no serial output connected, a fully charged internal battery provides at least 8 hours of monitoring time.
The Covidien N-ellcor OxiMax N-560 Pulse Oximeter's built-in battery is also very convenient to charge and can be charged whenever the device is connected to AC power. You can choose to keep the N-560 device connected to power when it is not suitable to ensure battery power availability.
