►To charge the battery, follow these steps:
1. Remove the monitor from the patient and stop any observations or measurements.
2. Insert the battery to be calibrated into the battery compartment of the monitor.
3. Connect the AC/DC adapter to the monitor and charge the battery continuously for 10 hours.
4. Remove the AC/DC power adapter and run the monitor on battery power until it powers off.
5. Reconnect the monitor to AC/DC power and charge the battery continuously for 10 hours.
