Assembly and disassembly of the flow sensor using the reusable hose system of the Oxylog device

► Assembly

1 Slide the flow sensor (A) over the breathing valve (B). Make sure that the flow sensor slot (A) and the breather valve (B) tab are correctly aligned.

2 Slide the angled connector (C) over the flow sensor (A).

3 Connect the flow measuring hose (D) to the flow sensor nozzle (A). When connecting the flow measuring hose, be careful that the hose and nozzle have different diameters.

► Disassembly

1 Disconnect the flow sensor (A) from the breather valve (B).

2 Remove the flow measurement hose (D) from the flow sensor (A).

Note Do not twist or apply force when removing the breather valve and flow measurement hose from the flow sensor. This may damage the flow sensor.

3 Remove the angled connector (C) from the flow sensor (A).

Manual cleaning

Hand washing is best done with running water or a commercially available mild alkaline detergent. Performing manual cleaning

1 Wash off any visible dirt under running water.

2 Use the detergent according to the manufacturer's instructions. Make sure that all surfaces to be cleaned are cleaned effectively. Place the flow sensor in a bubble-free solution for approximately 20 minutes. Stir the flow sensor well in the solution at the beginning and end of storage. Wash the flow sensor connector several times with a solution such as a syringe.

3 Rinse the garment under running water until no traces of detergent are visible.

4 Check for visible dirt or damage. Repeat manual cleaning if necessary.
