CU Medical AED Defibrillator i-PAD NF1200 for Repair
▷ CU Medical AED Defibrillator i-PAD NF1200 Description
i-PAD NF1200 is a semi-automatic external defibrillator designed for personnel with minimal training. It provides simple, direct voice prompts and instructions for direct rescue actions.
It is lightweight, portable, and battery operated.
i-PAD is designed to treat ventricular fibrillation (VF) and rapid ventricular tachycardia.
These are the two most common causes of sudden cardiac arrest (SCA). In SCA, the patient's heart suddenly stops beating. This happens suddenly and without warning to people of any age. The only effective treatment is the use of a defibrillator shock.
▷ Indications for use
Use the i-PAD to treat a person who you think is in SCA. These are the symptoms of SCA:
. No movement and no tremor response
. No normal breathing
. No pulse
▷ Setting up the i-PAD
①After unpacking the box, check that it contains all the items listed in the packing list.
②Familiarize yourself with the controls and functions of the i-PAD. Understand the functions of the buttons, switches, indicators, and connection ports.
③Place the defibrillator electrode pack as shown in the following figure. Do not open the electrode pack before use.
④Install the battery
After inserting the battery, the i-PAD automatically performs a self-test to ensure it is ready for rescue operations. The status LED flashes green to indicate that the battery insertion test has passed.
⑤If you purchased this optional accessory, store your i-PAD in the carrying case.
Store your i-PAD according to emergency response protocol. When storing your i-PAD, keep the following in mind.
Area conditions must not exceed the environmental limits of the i-PAD. The i-PAD indicators should be easily accessible to ensure that it is ready for emergency situations.
A telephone should be placed near the storage area so that emergency medical services can be easily called.
