• Battery Lock – Press the battery lock to remove the battery from the handpiece.
• Battery – Rechargeable battery that powers the handpiece.
• Position Button – Press the position button to adjust the sagittal head.
• Blade Lock Lever – Rotate the lever to the “Load” or “Run” position to load or lock the blade.
• Blade Holder – The blade holder holds the blade in place.
• Sagittal Head – The sagittal head can be positioned in 45° increments and rotated 360° to set the desired cutting angle.
• Trigger Switch – The trigger switch is pressure sensitive and allows variable speed control.
• Fast/Standard/Safety Mode Control – Allows the handpiece to operate in Fast or Standard mode depending on the position. Safety Mode prevents operation of the handpiece.
• Accessory Interface – The connection provides power and communication for future accessories.
--- Safety Precautions:
• Allow the blade to cut while using the handpiece. Excessive force can bend the blade and reduce cut quality.
• Do not stop the handpiece. This could damage the motor or battery. If the handpiece jams, release the trigger immediately. Remove any obstructions before continuing.
• If a power outage occurs while using the handpiece, be sure to replace the battery with a fully charged one. Otherwise, the battery may be discharged or damaged, shortening its life.
• Slide the fAST/STD/Safe control to the fAST or STD position to operate the handpiece.
• Pull the pressure-sensitive trigger to operate at variable speed.
• When finished using the handpiece, slide the fAST/STD/Safe control to the safe position.
